Monitor LED blinks and makes a buzzing noise in hibernate.

I have an ASUS LED monitor and an MSI motherboard. When the computer goes into hibernate the blue LED indicator on the face of the monitor blinks. When it starts blinking there is a slight buzzing noise that is emitted. Since my computer is in my bedroom I was hoping to be able to change this so at least it doesn't make a noise when I am trying to sleep. Is this possible?
