Yeah, same on my 928. This was an issue a while back that a fix for the phone was put out for.
    Long time ago.
But, there may be something with the post box here that WP's or Lumia phones do not like.

But I have had issues in other places like that
Such as Walmart site trying to find locations on their site.
I think it has to be a coding thing for IE version on the phone maybe?
Or the virtual keyboard doesn't know how to handle the coding of the site?
Could also be coding for IE on the phone in general as I have had other issues with drop menus

Could be Flash is being used in some way?

I can only guess. I do not think it is a Phone issue in general as I do not have issues with a lot of sites.

    Personally, I blame Chrome.
A lot of devs jumped on the Chrome Wagon, but I think them spinners are coming loose and will be the death of them.

Tepid, thanks a lot. I just downloaded the Bing Maps and made a test try. It worked Perfect for me, for a change. Thanks for the link. I believe I am starting to catch on, just very slowly. Thanks to everyone here.

I don't see my response to WHS post from last night where he said he and I may be in trouble on April 2ND. I responded, I don't have to wait, I'm already in trouble. LOL. However, I am having fun with my new toy, and I don't give up easily. I WILL figure it out if I live long enough!

Thanks, Tepid. I thought it might of been my phone.

Don't quote me, but I think I remember John complaining that the 7F and 8F forum software company was sold off, outdated, and not very well supported, so I doubt this problem will ever get fixed.

Don't worry. You'll be flying around in that thing in no time.

My question is whether the Bing maps work in Europe. For Europe, the best maps are from Michelin. I'll have to see whether they have a W8P version.

PS: Just found Michelin Travel app. Have to see what that is. Looking thru the comments it sounds like this is for Europeans, not for Americans that cannot deal with Kilometers.

OK, I just logged onto eightforums and had no problem signing in. But, responding to posts I couldn't do. The keyboard would just pop up and disappear. I couldn't respond on the Lumia. Darn, I was going to show off, LOL. But, I do have one question. My keyboard in any app is English United States, which I want and everything is in English except the space bar is labeled Puwang. It really is not a problem as I know where the space bar is and it causes me no problem, just wonder why or is it a common acronym that I'm ignorant of. I really don't keep up with all the acronyms and don't know most of them. More of a curiosity question.

EDIT: Darn, Wolfgang, I always though Michelin was a brand of car tires. Shows how much I know.

put up with acronyms new guy?

Steve, Michelin has great travel guides and especially maps. Next time you go to Borders, look into their travel section - especially for France. The guides are green and have a funny slim format. I always have a Michelin Atlas in the car - and their maps are legend.

Thanks WHS, I will give them a try. Honestly I was making a joke. My only experience with the name is the commercial on TV. The Michelin Man? But, I will try their maps next time I buy one.

Their stuff is obviously best for France where I travel most of the time. But other countries are good too, I downloaded their app. It's pretty neat - even for my area here in Florida. Saw a lot of things to visit that I never knew after 16 winters in the area.
