Battery plugged in, not charging, is it broken?

Hi, sorry for my bad english, I speak french.

My problem is:
One month ago, my battery was working good (2h+), and the day after, I decided to change room, so I unplugged the laptop (The battery was still in it) and... Everything shuts down

The laptop wasn't working anymore if it was unplugged, even if in windows, it was telling me the battery was 78% charged. The message was something like: 78% available, plugged in, not charging. After one month the message is now: 0% available, plugged in, not charging.
Even if I use linux, linux on a flash drive, windows 7, windows 8, or simply chilling in the bios, if I unplug it, it shuts down.

That might be a hardware problem, but why would my battery die "instantly", it was working really well one day ago?? I could replace it, but how can I know if the problem is the battery, or the connector that are on my laptop?

If I'm not clear, just tell me what you want to know.
Thanks!

Samsung Battery Issues

There are a few posts on the internet regarding Win 8/8.1 and batteries not charging. Mostly about HP Laptops. Without being able to physically test your battery its not easy to say if its a false message or a literal drainage issue/dead battery.

I can only suggest, if the above link doesn't work, that you take it to a well known battery store and trust them to check the charge honestly.

Please post back with your result from the above link.

Ok donc si je comprends bien
