Hello All,

I installed my fresh Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64 bits (build 9600), on my Acer V3-571G laptop.
Only I have a little problem.

When I go to device manager, and I want uninstall this driver.

--> Imaging devices
--> and Bluetooth,

When I Disable and Uninstall them, then, it's seems te drivers are gone!
But when I restarts mine Laptop, the Imaging devices and bluetooth, comes back?

Why is that? How I can complete remove that?
In the standard Windows 8 (not 8.1) that was possible? But 8.1?

Manny thanks..

If bluetooth is a device in your system, then the device will be found by the device manager. Stands to reason. What seems to be the problem? Why is it you have to remove the devices? If you tell people a little more, like why maybe, there might possibly be awork around . Possibly disabling it in the BIOS or the 3rd party settings, if not another setting in Win.

You could try Winkey + S and type bluetooth into the search field, see what options there are that might suite your requirements.

patience is also helpful.

Alternatively you could try this

Hi there
a simpler solution is probably simply to turn off Blue tooth - then the computer won't look for a driver. I'm sure you can disable it on an acer either via a physical switch or via software settings.

Cheers

OK I see. Well I'd go with Jimbo. there would be 3rd party settings for the webcam also, otherwise a short fix so you dont have to keep turning bluetooth on and off would be to stick some Bluetack or a piece of tape over your cam (lol) Search as I recommended and disable allow devices to connect automatically, or find your device, I forget what it is, plus whatever else gives you that warm fuzzy feeling.

What is the laptop? I don't think I have ever owned a laptop that didn't have a bluetooth icon in the hidden icons or icons at bottom right hand of screen.

Anyway Turbo, people here want to help. Its a great community. Ive been a member of these forums for a crapload of years, except when I returned after a long hiatus I found my username and password had expired, probably due to long absence or a database upgrade .. My point being, its a worthwhile community.
A word of advice though. My guess is that 99.999% of folks in here that are actively helping others appreciate the value of owning their copy of Windows. What I do know is owning one gives great piece of mind. ... just sayin ;)

Likely can disable the Bluetooth radio in the bios as wisely suggested above. Yep.

Ok. I'll shoot.

I read that about 25% of American women are on some type of mental medication.

Why is it that 75% are going untreated?
