Hey guys, I can't find the Bluetooth option in PC Settings (more probems with Win8.1, I'm still not quite legendary with it :p)

Below is a screenshot of my PC Settings/PC and Devices
Other forums said bluetooth was there, but it's not. Help is appreciated

Hello Polarixis,

Do you have your Bluetooth drivers installed?

In addition, check at PC settings -> Network -> Airplane mode to see if you have a Bluetooth option under Wireless devices.

Hope this helps for now, :)

Yeah, I checked airplane mode under Wireless devices, no Bluetooth option there. I don't know what the bluetooth device is called in Device Manager, but I bought the laptop and the salesperson said it was Bluetooth enabled. I don't know how to update the drivers for it either

If this is the desktop from your profile, I doubt it has bluetooth. But if you need it, you can easily fix it with a BT dongle for little money - I did that with my desktop and it works great. Advantage, you get a cd with the driver.

Install and run Speccy, it will tell you if you have bluetooth. Also Device Manager should at least show bluetooth device with yellow triangle if driver is broken.

I've used quite a few of the little BT dongles like the one whs posted the link to. They work great and I've never needed to install any drivers, just plug and play.

Here is a picture describing how I ended up fixing mine after messing around for a while. Turned out some bluetooth thing "wasn't allocating memory properly" or something like that so it was automatically disabled. I re-enabled it and my bluetooth device works just fine. Good luck!
