Looking for best Windows tablet with Wacom digitizer

    Hi,

I currently use a Samsung Note 10.1 to take many class notes. It works well, but I think I would like to upgrade to a comparable tablet with Windows. I've been having trouble finding a decent one that has the same or better pressure sensitivity and reasonable weight.

So far I have tried the Lenovo Helix, but it did not work out for me because:

    1) The device got way too hot while in casual use. So hot that while writing on the screen it was like writing on a warm glass-top stove. The cooling fan would rarely turn off, which is somewhat annoying to myself and others around me, sitting in a classroom setting that is otherwise quiet except for the teacher talking... and the whirring fan sound of my tablet.

    2) It was relatively bulky

Are there other tablets I can look into? I tried searching, but I keep seeing reviews of fatal manufacturer flaws or exorbitant pricing, it seems that the technology isn't as bug-free or developed as I would like yet.

I just bought the above 10.1" tablet & it's just great. I don't know where you're located, but I just bought this at Amazon UK for 250.00. That's half the price of what it was a year ago. This was brought out by Asus as a competitor to the I-Pad. Check it out.
It has Windows 8 & you can upgrade it for free to 8.1.

Hello, My digitizer on my Acer Iconia W5 becomes unresponsive sometimes while in use. Resetting the tablet doesn't work and I have to remove the back cover and disconnect the battery to get it working again. It's been happening more and more often. I don't think it is the digitizer itself...

Should I try Windows 7 drivers? I am on a tablet PC (HP 2710p) that is a few years old and likely HP will not put out Windows 8 drivers, or at least not soon. Any suggestions?
