Solved Service responsible for adding/managing drivers

Hello,

I have windows 8 installed, so someday Skype stopped working and there was a service preventing it from working, so i went to the safe mode, and copied the names of the services running under safe mode (because Skype worked there like a charm), but after some period i started having some trouble in various things, like file sharing on the network because the service was disabled, and now i cannot add a new device, like the driver of a huawei 3G internet key, or the microsoft virtual pc network driver.
Now im sure it has something to do with a disabled service, but i cant find which one responsible for the driver management.

If you are disabling services in services.msc, that is a very bad idea...

Im pretty sure because whenever i have a problem it's due to services these days,
and i dont think i can do a system restore, it was like 3-4 months before.
and yea i disabled from services.msc ...

Very few services can actually be disabled... best to set it to manual over disabled anyway. Even better if you leave that area alone

-Go back through your service list and set everything back to their default values according to the list on that site

Device Association Service
Device Install Service
Device Setup Manager

And don't whatever you do disable services based on black viper site. At the very best you'll not make your computer run any worse. Certainly you'll not see an improvement by randomly stopping services - investigate them individually if you have a problem.

True. I'd be astonished if you need to set CPU priority or timeslice though these days.
