Multi-tray printer setup

I'm trying to install an HP Laserjet Pro 400M401n multi-tray printer on my W8 computer. The install went fine. However, previously, with Windows XP, it was set up on a single virtual USB printer port but it had like three iterations of the printer in the PRINTERS AND DEVICES folder and each one had it's own name that corresponded to a different tray on the printer. How can I set up it up so that it will allow me to choose a different tray as default for the three different types of documents I want to print? For example, if I want to print general correspondence, I use tray one. If I want to print out job tickets, I use tray two, and if I want to print out a delivery memo, I use tray three. I have heard the term "ghosting" but am not familiar with how to do that on W8. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Mike
