Hello everyone. :)

I've just put the Windows 8 Consumer Preview onto my HP Mininote 2133 netbook, and the graphics do not display well at all. :S Whenever the mouse moves over buttons, they shift and jerk about (see picture below).

Somebody else posted about this same problem, claiming that it was solved by 'downloading non-experimental drivers'. Would anyone be able to provide a hint as to what these might be? I've installed the Windows 7 32bit Via chrome graphic drivers, which didn't help at all. :S

Thank you for your time. :)

Hi Cricky,
I'm trying the W8 customer preview on my HP Mini Note but I'm not succeeding to solve the screen resolution required 1024x768.
How did you do to let it work? Did you used a particular graphic driver or...I don't know...please, help me!!!!

Solved the problem - simply reinstalled Windows whilst keeping all of my data. :)

Do you mean that you did the install again by running SETUP from the install disk? Can you please advise? Also, what is your experience with using the preview edition? Is your computer running faster / better ?

Thanks

Did you get any answer to this question? I am in the same boat and don't know what to do to get this to work. I cannot afford to have to scrub my machine and go back to Windows 7. Any suggestions / help would be appreciated.
