HDD Partition inaccessible after fail split with Acronis

So I tried splitting a 400gb partition which contained windows 8 so I could be able to dual boot into windows 7. I used Acronis disk director and once my pc began the operation it took a really long while, and by the time it was finished it wouldn't boot.
I plugged my HDD into another computer and now the 400gb partition is corrupt, if I try to open it I get a message displayed saying 'You need to format the disk in drive F: before you can use it.'
In Acronis it says in the 'File System' column that it is 'Not Formatted'.
I have 200gbs of necessary data on this partition and have tried multiple programs such as File Scavenger with no success, they simply cannot access the drive.
Could I format the drive without erasing data, or is there a program that can help me get my things back?

Never use anything that's not part of windows.... Use the disk management admin tool. Also, you might be able to use Recover Files & Data from CD, DVD, Hard Drive, USB, SD with IsoBuster! to recover your data. I find it an awesome tool to take stuff out of some ISO disks windows is never able to read, but it works with physical things too.
