Solved Windows 8.1 ACHI TO IDE ... Can't find registry msachi

Hi guys and thank you for your answers my problem is that i can't find this registry as i read from other posts to change my bios from achi to ide and i want to know if we can find a solution for this ? :(

But this begs the question, why would you want to change from AHCI to IDE?

i ve made this change now because i have 2 hard disk drivers SSD OCZ Agility 3 120gb and another one western digital 1tb sata3 and i ve read that it's better to change bios from ide to achi and i ve made it but i ve read in some ppl pc starts freeze after this change. And i want to know if i will have this problem how i will can go back again ? i have AMD ports :(

I ve found as you told me iaStorV and i must change from 3 to 0 ??? And second do you propose me to stay with AHCI or to go back again ???

Oh ok, now you've switched your topic title "ACHI to IDE" to really mean you want "IDE to AHCI".

Semantics. heh, quite important though here.

You really should have this location then: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\msahci

If you're currently on IDE, the Start value inside will be 3. Change it to 0. Close Regedit. Reboot to bios and change your post to AHCI. Boot to Windows and you're done.

To revert, just change the 3 back to 0 and then put bios to IDE.

Title it's ok cause i ve made this change ( IDE to AHCI) and you give me the answer if i will have freeze in pc how i will go back to IDE :D x)
