EZ Eyes turns PC off with 1 key

Somebody got EZ Eyes keyboards. Now I need help terminating the Power button to the right of F12. I tried changing it to = with SharpKeys. Then I went into Control Panel>Power Options like mentioned below. Its a desktop and the option of "ask me what to do" isn't there. Just Shut down , Do nothing , Sleep or Hibernate.
I've heard about mapping keys but never did it without SharpKeys.

All help is appreciated especially before my cat finds that button. LOL

I did have to go into my Windows properties settings and set it to "ask me what to do" when the power button on my computer is pressed as otherwise hitting the "power" button on the keyboard will cause the computer to be turned off, and I don't want to even accidentally turn off my computer from the keyboard.

It was nice seeing the letters on the keys again. But I had to remove EZ Keys and go back to my hard to see MS keybpoard.
THe cat turned pc off twice and I did too because I'm use to that being my Prnt Scrn key.

    In a perfect world those 3 keys (Power , Sleep , WakeUp) could be changed to (= , @ , &)

    Every suggestion is appreciated.

Is there a utility for that EZ Eyes keyboard from the manufacturer? My Logitech keyboard has a Power button on it and I can disable it or reassign it in the Logitech Setpoint software. Mine is distinctly different from the other keyboard keys and where I won't accidentally hit it. I actually forgot it was there as I never use it. I have a shortcut for shutdown on my taskbar.

No utility came with it. I tried finding something on line pertaining to it and the closest I got was "Allstar group homepage. Totally useless site that just wants another idea to make millions off tv commercials.

I tried SharpKeys to change Power key but it is under Logitech and didn't work. Guess all I can do is learn to map a keyboard.
Or use a Sharpie on my good MS Keyboard. Or Logitech.
    Thanks for reply

I used to use X-Mouse Button Control to remap a button to Back. It was an old trackball actually that didn't have anything other than the standard left center and right click. I checked their site and didn't see anything for keyboards, but the Google search I used to find it also listed AutoHotKey. Have a look, Remapping Keys and Buttons

Good news: finally managed to get it disabled with SharpKeys & bad news: couldn't remap it to something else.
I'm thankful for getting it disabled.

I appreciate that last link Remapping Keys and Buttons which makes it look simple. It's going to be useful I believe. After I read it several more times.

I have to go back to my larger & heavier MS keyboard. I just realized its a media keyboard with 19 extra buttons and I was only aware of 3 volume control buttons. Reminds me of the old saying "Can't see the forest for the trees!" or "None so blind as those who do not see."
Looks like neat idea ... definitely some buttons to remap with SharpKeys or your link.
OR - will those buttons work to open programs or control program functions? instead of being converted to a regular key such as a, b, + etc (maybe that's why SharpKeys didn't convert Power to calculator or =)

Thank you for your help, I'll mark this Solved and research more.

On my Logitech keyboard the media keys for play, pause, volume up down, etc, work from Windows without having to install the Setpoint software. I have some other custom keys with Blue text that won't work without it. They are labeled Word, Excel, IE etc. These keys are also the Fn keys F1 to F12. There is a blue Fn key that toggles what they do to what is labeled in Blue. I had an old Microsoft keyboard that worked in a similar fashion. Some of the extra keys worked right away and some required the Microsoft keyboard software for them to work.
