Hello Sivarajan,

Anything in your Windows.old folder is not being used by Windows, so it's completely safe to delete.

Since it was a Windows 7 driver, I doubt that it was carried over with Windows 8, and you'll need to reinstall a Windows 8 or 8.1 version of the keyboard driver if available. If one is not available, then it wouldn't hurt to try installing the Windows 7 driver again to see if it may still work. If it will not install, then you might see if it may using compatibility mode.

Hope this helps, :)
Shawn

You will not be able to install the old drivers then since they are saying they are incompatible with Windows 8/8.1.

About all you can do is hope that HP has a Windows 8/8.1 driver available for it, or continue to use the generic drivers that Windows 8.1 is using for it if it's working properly. Otherwise, it may be time to update the keyboard with one that has Windows 8.1 drivers available.

Are you sure that's the correct model number for the keyboard? I'm not finding anything for it.
