    remove disk write protected

my 8gb tdk usb flash drive has suddenly come up with the error 'disk write protected'.
there is no external switch to toogle the disk write protection.
i have tried 1 method that was said to work but hasn't for me...
create a key called 'SystemDevicePolices' under HKEY LOCAL MACHINE>SYSTEM>Currentcontrol set>Control. in the key i created a d-word called writeprotect

I have tried but with no success. It shows the error 'Device Media is Write-Protected'.

Any other suggestion? There has to be a way as it has not been used that often

    Garbage bin ????
Did you try "Wipe data" in EAseus Partition Master ?
Some kind of Safe eraser program ?
    or :
    Unlock Disk - Download
    Download PenFormat - MajorGeeks
Keep in mind that they manifest same when they die. !!!
