Acer Launch Manager does not work on Windows8.1

Hey peeps

I have Acer Aspire v5-571G
and the Acer Launch Manager, does not start in my windows8.1. it just stays there, does not apear on screen or what so ever, its really hard to turn of wifi and bluetooth without it. D:

If this is a ACER Pre-installed with Windows 8, have you checked the ACER Windows 8.1 update.

Peep here, assuming you have the latest Launch Manager driver from Acer for 8.1, I would uninstall it, run CCleaner (twice), re-install and reboot. See if it works.

You should have version 7.0.10 and it is actually listed in the Application section of downloads for your model.

I have been doing it several times, removed it, ran ccleaner(cleaned both junk and registry) restarted pc, and re-installed again, and still, when i press the WiFi button it does not display options.

In 8 when I press it the screen pops a notification saying Airplane Mode On or Off. I am in desktop mode. Maybe the app is glitched for 8.1.

While downloading, it said it was compatible with windows8.1

Can't you just hit FN-F3?

To turn on the bluetooth, I have to cycle through FN+F3. but its annoying.

just leave wifi and bluetooth enabled and disable them via PC Settings app when you don"t need them
