How to Disable Right Click area on Synaptics ClickPad

Hello all. I just recently purchased a windows machine and I would like to disable the right click area of the trackpad. Since you can use two fingers to right click, I don't see any reason to have that area designated for that purpose. I have searched all through all of the trackpad settings, then google to find a solution with no success.

    Any ideas?

since synaptics has lots of trackpad versions can you take screen shot of your trackpad software so we can help you further please. also are you trying to disable a touch area of the trackpad or a physical button?

Ok I will do that. It is not a physical button but just the bottom-right area of the trackpad.

yeah click settings then you will get its options. my laptop finally came back from service repair (had a bad speaker and so i sent it to them after finding out i had to remove the MB to replace it and didn't want to have to be liable and so had them do it, they sent it back with a new MB and a new speaker wtf the MB was fine lol) so i can take a pick of the actual settings if you want. EDIT: had to get something off the laptop anyways so here you go.

Unfortunately that is not the same settings menu I have.

This is what it looks like.

Thank you for the images though!

Yes I did go through the settings on the different options but I must have missed one! Here is a shot of the dialogue boxes.

You cant just disable Corner Click Action, or that portion of the trackpad wont function. You have to turn it to primary click.

Thank you.Click image for larger version

oh so it solved it then? as it now only a full left click button right? unless you tap with two fingers, or are you just not going to not use tap at all? also thanks for the rep

I just plan on using the two finger tap for the right click option. The default right click area portion of the track pad is unproportionally large in my opinion, so I would constantly right click on accident when trying to left click. Removing the area completely fixed this issue completely. Thanks again.
