Dell XPS L702X drivers for Windows 8.1 x64

    Hi guys
I own a XPS L702X laptop purchased in 2011. Laptop has driver support from Dell for Win 7 and Win 8.
But windows 8 drivers aren't working with windows 8.1 and i don't think Dell is in the mood to provide drivers for a laptop which is already 2+ years old.
So i had to collect drivers by myself. I have already got most of the native drivers from Intel/nVidia/Realtek websites.
But not able to find the Quickset software. Currently using the one which was released for windows 8, and it gives error when i open the windows mobility center. And after installing, it doesn't remove the "Unknown Device" icon from device manager like it used to do in windows 8 .
Also need "ST Micro Screen Detection Sensor" driver. If i install the old windows 8 driver, it says incompatible with this version of windows.

Have you tried installing the non 8.1 drivers in a compatibility mode?

I have an old wireless device (for my recording studio) and the last drivers that were made, before the company went out of business, were for Vista. In both Win 7 64 bit and Win 8/8.1 I have to install the device in Vista compatibility mode, but it works fine after the install.

Quickset is installed in compatibility mood for windows 8 but still giving the error.
I had better luck using Vista drivers on Windows 7 on my previous XPS M1530 laptop. But now can't even use Windows 8 drivers on 8.1 .

Ok, after messing around i came to know that "Unknown Device" is actually ST Microelectronic Free Fall Sensor driver.
After a bit of hunting, i found Dell Vostro 3460 8.1 x64 driver for it and it worked fine. No warning of wrong driver etc and "Unknown Device" gone from Device manager.
That left the Quickset issue. So earlier i tried to run the whole package in compatibility mode but it still gave error. So i extracted the package and took "Quickset64" file out, then ran this file in compatibility mode for previous version of windows and voila...
Quickset worked perfectly without any error.

    Hi gulls777.

I'm trying to upgrade my laptop to windows 8.1, but I'm going crazy to find the appropriate drivers.
I found Nvidia, Realtek and Intel drivers, but to perform the analysis of the system by DELL, many more appear.
Do the other drivers for windows 8 work on windows 8.1?
I have read that you collected all the necessary drivers.
Would you mind give me a list of them? I would appreciate it.
