Multiple updates

According to the Vaio site my SVE1512C6EW laptop needs many updates; it would take for ever to install them individually, especially with restarting required. How can I tell the machine to get on with installing all required updates automatically without being directed to that site trying to sell me a programme?

Fortunately found an answer at pcsupport.about.com. Why no support system from the computer manufacturer? Perhaps they also own the makers of the updating programme they keep pushing. I'd still like to know how to get driver updates installed automatically or at least notified.
