    the problem with 8 is it was designed to be able to reisntall it self if you will and that does nto work if you cant get to recovery options. removing the normal safemode toggle was a dumb move by microsoft for sure. in your bios do you have a option to turn off fast boot? it might be windows boots to fast for the shit f8 to take effect if the system is set up right windows can boot in like 5 seconds. do you have a hdd or a ssd for your system?

    but i am not able to boot from any discs because i cannot reach the boot menu, so wouldn't that be useless?

    Oh that's okay I understand now go to that link I had above for your users guide it explains in the recovery area how to enable your not menu in the bios.
