Keyboard Missing in 8.1 Advanced Options

I am trying to Boot from a USB Pen Drive on my Asus VivoTab running 8.1.
There is no keyboard available in Trouble Shoot/Advanced Options UEFI Firmware Settings & Startup Settings. Screen or Asus Bluetooth keyboard.

BTW the 8.1 update went well. All my Desktop apps were preserved as well as Tablet.
Also, poking about in the Troubleshoot area it is possible to load a system image. Not found out how to make one yet !

A lot of rubbish seems to have been written about the 8.1 update.

Regards John

David, Thanks for reply. I want to use Norton 15 Standalone. I have found this very reliable in XP & Win 7 so would like to continue with 8.1. I now have a image of the c: drive but need to get to point to load. it . F12 would normaly do this I think.
Any further help would be appreciated.
Regards
John

I don't know anything about Norton 15 Standalone.
