i have checked to make sure I was running all of the latest drivers, including mobo drivers and everything. However I couldn't figure out how to install the 64 bit version of the intel RST drivers, there is no executable, and when I run the 32 bit version it says that it has to be 64 bit.

your motherboard support page has like no drivers for windows 8 which is odd are you on 8.1 or just 8, also you would not use intel rst as you have an amd chipset. Also could you state what version your current bios is (not your drivers in windows). EDIT: these are what you want for your board straight from amd themselves as found here AMD Chipset Drivers
