TredNet Tew-423PI B1

I have an old Trednet wireless PCI card that I put into my Dell Dimension (mentioned in last thread) that has Windows 8 x86 installed on it. I found some windows 7 x86 drivers, so I installed them, and nothing. I rebooted and of course, nothing. I found a thread about it for windows 7 that said install drivers, restart, connect to homegroup, turn off, remove card, uninstall utility, turn off, re-insert card, boot and viola. but I got stuck on connect to homegroup because it says "This computer cannot connect to a homegroup." Im guessing this is because I can't connect to my router....
So does anyone know of a fix or working drivers for my Trednet TEW-423PI B1 Wireless PCI Card ???
