    TouchPad unresponsive

Hi guys I have a problem with my TouchPad sometimes its become unresponsive like when I want to open a file but I can't do it because the pointer go away from the file, I though it was the driver fault so I take a look at Acer website for synaptics touchpad driver for Windows 8.1 and I got it, when I install the new driver, there's another problem coming, I can double tap the touchpad to open a file and after that the touchpad is no longer working see the video below on 00:22 I can't use the touchpad anymore so I should connect my mouse. Thanks in advance!

I already have the problem even in Windows 8, it's really annoying problem because I should reboot the system to solved it for a moment, but really I don't have this problem on my Ubuntu 13.04 :banghead:

If you have "Scrybe" installed when you installed the driver, uninstall it and see whether it helps.

Well it's working, the fix? Not sure. I uninstalled the drivers... rebooted... reinstalled the latest drivers (Synaptics_v16_3_15_1_C_XP32_Vista32_Win7-32_XP64_Vista64_Win7-64_Signed_Acme_Inc.zip)... rebooted again. Did not work... went to desktop than noticed on keyboard a function key F7 that I never noticed before, put my glasses ond can see it was a toggle for the touchpad... duh... Was it deactivated during the upgrade or did I clicked it by mistake. It's working great now.

I don't have Scrybe installed because I installed the driver after Windows installation, there's no software installed before.

Try different version drivers from Acer support site, even if it's for another Acer Aspire E1 model, one of them will work, try E 1-422 driver 16.3.12.34, for example.

Edit: Dang it! It comes back the primary button couldn't be clicked!
