Bluetooth does not work in Windows 8.1

    Hi All
Windows8.1 do not recognize any bluetooth., But Windows 8 will be easily identified. Install bluetooth driver in Windows 8.1, but I do not know why I can not be activated.

    Model: Asus k53sd

Not sure if this is your problem but it is what worked for me due Bluetooth Support Service not having the right permissions:

    Unable to REMOVE Bluetooth mouse

Does Bluetooth Support Service show up as running in Task Manager/Services?

You definitely have a driver problem. Nothing posted on Asus site?

I looked on Asus site, the drivers are old. Do you have Intel or Atheros bluetooth card?

Also have you tried to update driver and let it search Windows Update for it?

Hi I have a similar problem if not the same ... I've tried ASUS K55A Qualcomm Atheros BlueTooth Driver 8.0.1.306 for Windows 8.1 64 bit ... and it does not work.

the various errors that I get when I try different drivers including the above, are they in the picture with numbers 1 and 2.

Does anyone have any idea how I can solve this problem?

The computer I have is an ASUS N56VM with windows 8.1.
There are also other drivers for other devices in the computer that can not be installed after windows 8.1 been installed. could it be that the bluetooth device require any other device works? such as support for hotkeys.

    Hi Community,

I've just published an article titled "Easily return native Bluetooth functionality to Windows 8.1 after upgrading from Windows 8.0".

You find it at the top of the heap over at Publications .

    Hope that helps !

    Regards,
