Solved My Bluetooth Places in "This PC" (My Computer)

I Upgraded to windows 8.1 and I had those annoying folders which i removed with a registry hack but now there are icons of bluetooth devices and I cant remove them.
Anyone have any solutions to this problem?

Sounds like your registry hack may have given you more than expected. So I hope you backed up those changes so you can restore the original entries to see if that fixes your icon issue. Once done, then you can start over and try an alternate method to get rid of those "annoying folders." Good luck.

Actually those folders were there even before the registry hack. So........
And even after restoring the registry, I have the same icons there.

Do you actually HAVE Bluetooth Devices connected to your system?

Can you take a screenshot? I take it this new "boon" is not in Windows 8?

Yeah This new "boon" is not in Windows 8 as I had connected a phone and another laptop when I had 8 and These icons showed up in 8.1.

So, they are left over from when you had the phone connected in 8?

How if you connected the phone while in 8.1 and then removed it, see if they go away.

Yah, its basically the same as Windows 7, I connected my iPhone to a client's computer who had BT, It was actually pretty cool, but it made a kind of permanent connection. AND it had copied my entire contacts list!

I couldn't leave that in the system, that's how I knew about this.
