I'm not seeing "flickering" when moving the window. It's not perfectly smooth, but it doesn't flicker. I believe it is the way it was with Windows 8.

I tried uninstall and reinstalling the drivers and wintv. but for some reason the video playing turns black when dragging. doesn't flicker anymore. it just turns black. it only happens when using the default render EVR. if I use the other renders it works. but then the picture is bad.

I also updated my nvidia drivers too.

I had that exact problem with WinTV, bad flickering when dragging the window. I fixed it by choosing VMR9 as the video renderer and unchecking the 'use hardware acceleration when possible' box and restarting WinTV. Now its perfectly smooth and I detect no loss in performance.

I had better luck with using media player classic to output the video from the turner.

You will just have to adjust the screen settings and use haali output render. and it picture perfect and no problems.
