Solved Windows 8.1 upgrade no devices now listed under devices.

After upgrading to 8.1 all of my previously listed devices are no longer listed under devices... in fact there are no devices listed. I can also not add a device. If I look in device manager they are listed there and if I go to print the printer shows up and I can print. The screenshot below shows what I see when I open "Devices and Printers" in control panel. The biggest issue is not being able to add devices like Bluetooth speaker. Anyone have an idea how Tom resolve??

You'll need updated chipset drivers from your computer manufacturer.

Updated all to latest right after upgrading to 8.1. According to Dell support site I have the latest chip set drivers and just upgraded to latest BIOS. Problem is on a Dell Latitude 10. Any other suggestions... problem still persists.

Sounds like your BIOS update occurred "after" the Win 8.1 upgrade. Maybe a repair install might fix it the second time around:

Checked the recommended site and found a more upmto date chipset drivers and it sort of fixed the issue. I can now see the devices but am still having trouble connecting to Bluetooth Headset. Shows it and says connected then immediately disconnects. Thanks for the help!

Update... Just downloaded the latest windows update and it had a Bluetooth update that fixed my issues. All Bluetooth devices now seem to work.
