Sony camera (USB) not recognized with Win 8.1
On my first time transferring photos from Sony digital camera to desktop via USB since updating from Win 8 Pro x64 to 8.1, the camera is not recognized. When I didn't see the photos in Picassa (import), I checked a file manager and the drive wasn't there. Not in Windows Photo Viewer either. Shows in Device Mgr and driver up to date. Is Media Center needed for any of this, as I didn't update it because I don't use it or WMP (tho the latter is still installed). Thanks,
Update: According to the Sony support site, Sony eSupport - Driver Update for USB Charging with a Windows 8.1 PC, a driver has been released. Not sure where they were during the preview period, but my 8.1 is up to date so the driver must not yet have been released, at least by MS
