Problem wtih Ethernet Controller - No Internet

I have just installed windows 8 on my Acer Aspire T120c which was running Windows XP. I can't connect to the internet becuase there is a problem with the ethernet controller driver. I've installed all the drivers I can find on the Acer website but it doesn't fix it. Can anyone help?

On my Toshiba, the native drivers worked quite well with the Realtek PCIe FE Family Controller:
