Logitech K330 Keyboard and Mouse Randomly Freeze

Hello, I have recently upgraded to windows 8. I was previously using a logitech mk320 mouse/keyboard and experiencing the same issues. So I purchased the new K330 setup that is windows 8 compatible, but again same issues. A little less frequently, but same issues.

Basically the keyboard will randomly have a 3 to 15 second delay when typing. To make it worse when it does finally pick up it leaves out letters making it very hard to type anything. Secondly the mouse will also randomly be very choppy. Not completely unresponsive, but skip over large sections of the screen. It's almost like the batteries are dying, but I have replace them 2 times now with fresh ones. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

I have a K350 keyboard and M570 trackball, no problems in Windows 8 or 8.1 clean installs. I had mouse/keyboard issues after updating to the 8.1 preview though the Windows store though. When you upgraded did you do a clean install or upgrade install? Upgrade installs will have issues more often than not.

I did a clean install, but I did it right when windows 8 came out. So I think there might be some issues with the hardware I have not having the correct drivers??? After doing some research the issue could be that the receiver is getting too much interference from the power supply, aps, or router that I have close to my PC. I am going to get a USB extension cord tomorrow and see if that fixes the issue. I will update if so.

Windows installed the driver for mine. Both of my devices use the Logitech Unifying receiver. I am running the latest Setpoint software but that's optional and not needed for basic operation of my keyboard and trackball. Good luck with the extension cord. One came with my keyboard but I didn't use it.
