Hi all
Until now I've found it a real problem getting the built in Sony VAIO webcam to work --drivers are fine but apart from SKYPE I was unable to find any stand alone application which would make the webcam work.
However I copied the AMCAP program from an old Philips FREEVENT computer -- and to my amazment the Camera worked fine (and even the Motion Eye controls appeared).
Look for a program called amcap.exe -- it's a small webcam generic capturing program.
I even "Back ported " this to W7 !!!!! as I couldn't get the webcam to function on that either.
Cheers
