Hi All, I bought one of these

Logitech Touch Lapdesk N600 Review | Everything USB

It has a slide out touchpad and it is really really good as it is big -- BUT -- I can't get it to do the swipe from the edge thing to slide out the Charms bar (if that's what it is called)

Of course I can use the keyboard to slide the bar out, but I'd like to be able to use the trackpad. The built in trackpad on the laptop does it, so I don't think it is unreasonable to expect the N600 to do that too. Or is it?

I have tried the "latest" software but that has made no difference.

Anyone know how to make this happen or is there a better USB/WiFi trackpad I can get that does?

Thanks

Are there any configuration settings in the software? Logitech is supposed to be some of the best addon hardware, maybe it is defective? Can you try it on another system? Just to see it of works,

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Thanks for the comments. I had already downloaded the software and there was no option that I could find for the Charms-swipe. Maybe I missed it, but I suspect it doesn't do that as I got the entire thing for 18-bucks delivered from Amazon.

I figured I could pull it apart and just keep the track-pad part, but since it doesn't do the Charms swipe, looks like I will have to step up a little in cost. :) It does a few multi-finger gestures and works fine for what it is, and is a really nice size pad with two buttons for thumb clicking.

It's not worth sending this one back, but will see what I can find like that Lenovo. They make good stuff.
