Solved Repair file system errors (important)

Windows Developer seems to think that my SSD has a problem and it runs a file check on every boot I have checked my disc with several apps and they all report it is ok.
I have turned off the disc checker for now.
Is anyone else having this problem?

You can stop the automatic CHKDSK on C: with this command: chkntfs /x c:

Note: if you access the SSD from both Win7 and Win8, you will run into that problem. I think the reason is because the security settings get changed - not 100% sure though.

Thank you I switched it off by turning off messages about volume health in the Action Center it works as well.

Thanks for the note as well, but Win7 and Win8 are on different SSD's so that is not the problem. I think it is connected to the problems I experienced installing Win8 which would seem to only affect some Vertex2 SSD's

lol, are your forseeing your future install issues, and with the beta version?

Although the installer will format a blank disk, I always prefer to predifine a primary active partition into which I install. It has the added advantage that you do not get the extra 100MB active partition but your bootmgr ends up on C:.
