I have a Windows 8/ 4th Gen i7 Envy 17 jo29nr. What they don't mention in the specs description is that it comes with a 25GB mSATA SSD used for caching. Also, the standard drive is a 1TB 5400 RPM drive. I removed the RAID configuration to install a SSD but now I'm wanting to just put a 750GB 7200 RPM drive and reconfigure RAID and use the Intel Smart Storage for caching. But when I go to reconfigure RAID, both in the BIOS and at the control+I RAID screen, it will only allow 48GB for both drives, which is just doubling the SSD, but won't allow the rest of the space for the HDD. Any help would be appreciated.
