How to set BIOS to start every morning?

    Hi!

I have bought me a new computer with a ASUS Sabertooth V2.0 GEN 3 motherboard with UEDI BIOS utility.

Please take a look at the picture and tell me what i am doing wrong...
I want it to start at 9 in the morning.

P.S When i saw ASUS forum i decided to ask here instead.

    Hello,

I think your BIOS looks OK but I think you might need to check a few options in Windows 8 as well. Specifically, I think you need to enable PME in your network connection properties and also enable wake on magic packet in your LAN power settings. This tutorial should get you to the proper settings. Good luck and I hope this helps so please let us know:

    Hi

    Thanks, just one question.
I've got the same settings as on my other computer. In fact, it's the same hard drive and installation. :-) and it worked before. But I will for sure check out my settings.

I can only give you suggestions because all my mobos are too cheap to have that option. Good luck.

    Aha!

Have done the above but i can't find the reg key for PME.
Can i make one with your script to get this going?

Note that i can start my computer remotly by PC Monitor. But not by my BIOS settings

Can i mess something up adding a key that are not supposed to be there?

I don't think you should have to manually change the registry. Check these options as well:

I've used the Power On BY RTC option to turn my PC on every morning at a preset time. ASUS motherboard, similar but not the same BIOS menu. I'd check the RTC Alarm Date (days) setting. I see its set to 0, see what other options are available. See if it has an All or Every day option. If not try setting it to 7. Windows settings are not going to affect this setting/function. The PC is off so Windows is not running. It's all happening in the BIOS.

    Hi!

I've set the RTC to 0 which should be every day (it says so in the BIOS) It was by default put to 15 whatever that can be.... i meen 15 days and then what?
But i'm with you 100% when you say it's all in the BIOS. The computer is OFF and have nothing to do with Windows.

True for RTC but not true for PME which was your original request.

I've not asked for help about PME.
