I have a Windows 8 Toshiba Satellite S855-S5377 laptop. My problem is that I get notified all the time by the Windows Action Center that I should scan my drive for errors even though I already have multiple times. I've already opened the command prompt and typed chkdsk /f /r and did the scan on boot up. I checked the log with the Computer Management Console and didn't find any problems with the hard drive. I also have used other HDD error checking tools and have even used the error checking utility of Windows when you right click the drive choose properties then tools. And every time the PC or the program says my drive is fine but the Action Center warning message doesn't go away. I know I can turn it off but I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Is there any other way to see what my problem is? Perhaps something I missed? I want to make sure my drive is fine. I'd be thankful for any suggestions.
