Monitor driver needed rather than ICC profile?

Running Windows 8 Pro 32bit.

I have an HP LE2202x widescreen monitor for which a driver installed without any problems.
My 2nd monitor is a Mitsubishi DV173 17" which I use in portrait mode for documents.
I can only find an ICC profile for this monitor. Windows 8 shows it as generic pnp monitor, saying the latest driver is installed.
Everything seems to be working OK, but being a pedant I want the system to be right! :D
How/where do I get the correct driver for this monitor?

Thanks :thumb:

Hello Chrispy,

That is a very old monitor (circa 2002) and I am quite certain that a specific driver is not available for Windows 8. If everything seems OK, it is OK. Good luck.

Yes, it is old, picked up from a rubbish tip for nothing!
But it serves a very good purpose, A4 documents displayed in portrait mode.

As you say, everything's working OK, so I guess I'll just have to ignore the fact that it's reported wrongly in Device Manager.

Display Fusion, that I use to manage the dual monitors, reports it correctly as a DV173 Mitsubishi monitor.

Thanks

Chris
