Hi,
A while ago I tried to put a new HDD in my laptop and got a message saying something a long the lines that the disk wasn't recognised (forgot exact message)
I took the computer to my computer repair shop and they installed the HDD I asked them if it would be easy for me to do it and they said yes it was just a case of resetting the BIOS.
Can anybody please tell me how to reset the BIOS so I can install a new HDD?
I've installed HDD's in windows 7 machines and it was just a case of inserting the disk- I didn't have to mess with the BIOS!
TIA,
regards,
Ken.
