Allow USB keyboard to wake computer?

Installed new usb keyboard, shows as HID Keyboard Device in device manager, but there is no power management tab. How do I allow the keyboard to wake the computer?

    Thanks for any help!

Control Panel>Keyboard>Hardware tab>Properties dialog box>Change Settings dialog>Power Management tab>check 'allow this device to wake the computer'>click OK.

You need to get into your BIOS settings on the laptop. There's typically a Power section and that might include an option to wake from USB.
