Which driver is best?

Which drive would you use for the Z68 chipset? Gigabyte Z68A-D3H-B3 Motherboard

Gigabyte offers
Intel INF installation9.3.0.1021 1.24MB 2012/09/20

Intel Management Engine Interface8.1.0.1263 54.48MB 2012/09/20

Shouldn't I used the latest Z68 chipset from intel uploaded on 02-27-2013 since its newer.

You should download both, install the Gigabyte one first, then upgrade to the newer Intel one, if the new one does not work you'll be able to roll it back to the Gigabyte one. Should be the same driver though.

    Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
thanks I was worried about driver conflicts by installing two variations, but I will try that.

I'm not sure how it would be the same driver when the versions and release dates are different

The Gigabyte one is an earlier Intel driver, which comes as an "Inf" file, they are both made by Intel.
