Hi, I just installed Windows 8. I installed display drivers, motherboard drivers, realtek drivers (sound), but in the device manager there's still coprocessor without drivers. I didn't update Win, maybe that's the problem?
Thanx in advance

Your mobo doesn't support Win 8. The missing driver is a Nvidia driver. I can't find a Win8 version. You can try downloading and installing the latest Win 7 (WHQL) chipset driver package (Beta 15.49) for your mobo here: M3N78-EM - Motherboards - ASUS

Hmm... I've installed the driver manually from device manager by looking for the driver in c:/NVIDIA/nForceWinVista64/15.49/English/SMU. Maybe it's was just the problem with installer, since it's for win vista/7. :)
I'll mark this as solved.

That's how I tend to do it as well - saves installing all of the potentially unnecessary stuff. I have the M3N78-VM and that driver is always missing in Windows 7 on a new install too. I've only had Windows 8 on that machine once, briefly (use the license on my laptop instead now) but I installed the Windows 7 driver and it seemed fine.

My own solution to Windows 8.1 with

See this solution I use to fix my M3N78-EM problem. https://groups.google.com/forum/?hl=fr#!topic/fr.comp.sys.pc/P1urcNUzfLY

I've installed the driver manually from device manager by looking for the driver in c:/NVIDIA/nForceWinVista64/15.49/English/SMU. Maybe it's was just the problem with installer, since it's for win vista/7.

My coprocessor is now installed correctly in Windows 8.1.

Thank you very much the manual install fix is still useful in 2021 on windows 19.09 :)
