How can I stop printing things that are printing endlessly

I tried to print something but it started printing first a whole bunch of pages that I don't need anymore. It must be from the last time I pressed print but didn't connect the laptop with the printer.

You need to delete everything that is in the print queue. The best way to do it is first open the RUN command. Then type in SERVICES.MSC.When the box opens up, scroll down to PRINT SPOOLER. Right click and chooseSTOP. Then open up the PRINTERS folder which is usually in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\SPOOL.Open the PRINTERS folder and delete the files in it. You then must go back andrestart PRINT SPOOLER.

You should have it someplace if your operating system is Windows. I have Windows 7 on my desktop and Windows 8 on my laptop and the path for that folder is the same on both. Try and so a search and see if you can find it. I was assuming that your OS is Windows. Am I assuming wrong?

I found spoolsv.exe but it didn't do anything when I clicked on it. I am using W8.

I think I know why you can't find it and it's because by default Windows has it hidden. I don't know why, but it is. The first thing I always do is to set it so that it shows hidden files. You have to go to Folder Options. If you haven't done it, first open Control Panel and in the search box at the upper right corner. Type in Folder Options (actually you don't even have to type in the complete words). As you start typing, look at the top left side and you will see Folder Options. Click on that and when it opens, click on the View tab.Scroll down and remove the check mark where it say, "Hide system files". Close that up and then you should see the Spool folder.

If that batch-file works it would do exactly what I suggested. But, it would be simpler and take less time once the batch-file is made.
