    Not using all installed memory(RAM)


    I have 8GB of RAM installed on the locate system
    but, the system can not uses this value.why?

    Run msconfig.exe / boot / advanced options see if maximum memory is checked and if it is, uncheck it or set to amount of physical memory you have.

    Is that a 64 bit win8 ? If it is a 32 bit then it can not use more.

    Run the System Rating and see if it corrects it.

    Also launch Task Manager and see what it says.
