Oh God, lighter fluid to clean your screen?

I use a 50/50 solution of water (ideally distilled or at least filtered) with 99 percent rubbing alcohol, I also will use a microfiber cloth to clean the screen off. ABSOLUTELY amazing at cleaning crap off in general, especially with electronics where grime and germs reside on keyboards and mice and touchpads and such.

You might also try to find a matte screen protector for your tablet PC, I have one on my other Windows Phone and it really does mask a lot of smudging.

If you can and want to, a stylus is a good to use as a proxy for your finger.

Also, remember that keyboards and mice have been found to be have more germs than the average public toilet. This is due to the fact no one cleans their peripherals often enough.

Actually that advice came from a repair shop, so maybe it's a trick of the trade. Your suggestion sounds along the lines I would have done anyway.

As for a Stylus, I have one but keeping it with the tablet and not loosing it is going to be a challenge, plus touch screen is well frankly all about touching it.

Was not cleaning for Germs, those suckers are everywhere!!!

    Thanks for tips.

Gee, I've never heard of that ever before of using lighter fluid or petrol for something of that caliber. Interesting.

Hmmm, I know with the Surface Pro it has a connector for the stylus, but yes, it can be a challenge to keep it with you. You can touch a screen, a stylus still touches it.

Germs are gross, I've learned the hard way. I once got an awful illness a couple years ago this month actually, from a laptop I was working on. I was playing around with a leaked alpha build of Windows 8 on it as that was the PC I had available, but obviously it was just that disgusting and germy that it literally got me sick. Ever since then, EVERY single time I work on a laptop usually, first thing I will do is to clean it off decently and thoroughly afterwards. Sometimes I will straight up use 99 percent rubbing alcohol on the keyboard and touchpad to kill germs, also very excellent in removing sticker adhesive.
