    OnScreen Keyboard opacity and shortcut

Hello, I've a tablet with Windows 8, the resolution is not so hight.. 1280x800 pixels.
I use it mostly for play a game where is needed to write a lot, and I use the OnScreen Keyboard for do that.

    The problems are two:

    1. I can't use the game with full screen mode because I can't call the keyboard with Volume Up + Windows key, despite I've configured this shortcut in Windows' options...

    2. I'd like to make the keyboard not 100% opaque, but transparent, so I can see what happen below it (the keyboard take more of the 50% of the screen).

How can I solve those problems?

    An hug,
    Stray.

    Here is a free OSK:

    Free Virtual Keyboard for Windows

Move the slider in the bottom right corner to toggle transparency.

Thank you for the reply but I've already tried almost every OSK of Windows...

These are not comfortable as is the default of Windows 8.
I could use the OSK of Windows 8 (not the tablet version) that have an opacity feature, but it, as the one you've adviced to me, have the F1-12 keys, numbers and other special keys that are not useful and that make the keyboard more cumbersome if I want the same size of keys that I've with the Windows 8 OSK.

DO you have any other advice?

No, I mean the option you can find in General tab in the Settings panel of Windows 8.

I can't use the method in the screenshot because:
    1. I don't know where is the .exe of the onscreen keyboard (not the one you can find using the search filed)
    2. I don't know what is the keycode of Volume Up + Windows Button.

Yes, osk.exe is the wrong keyboard, as I said before.

I'd like to know why the dedicated option of Windows doesn't work..

PS: The right one is in Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ink\TabTip.exe
But the problem is that I don't know how to assign it to the VolumeUp + Windows shortcut.

Hello Stray, and welcome to Eight Forums.

If you mean the Touch Keyboard, then the tutorial below can show you how to download or create a shortcut that will open it for you, and you will be able to assign a keyboard shortcut to it.

Touch Keyboard Shortcut - Create in Windows 8

    Hope this helps,
