Do you have any external USB devices connected?

Hi there,

This is the exact same problem I am having after dual booting Windows 8 with Ubuntu. If anyone can find a fix it would be great.

Thanks,

Gurinder Hans

Odd...but looking at your system specs....it says you running windows 7. Are you using windows 7 or 8? If your running 8, looking up your mobo specs...it only list's windows 7 and earlier versions, which tells me right off it's a driver issue. That is, there are no windows 8 drivers for your mobo. So your mobo is not windows 8 compliant.

Is the webcam logitech? Im curious as to how often a windows issue is caused by logitech's weird hardware..

Hi my webcam isn't Logitech. Its from a company called techcomindia.com/ . I also found out that when I plug in the webcam after pc is booted into any OS it works but if I boot up my PC with it plugged in during the starting then the whole problem occurs :)

Thanks,

Gurinder Hans
