Hi guys. I've updated all the home PCs to Windows 8, including my daughter Samsung N130. Unfortunately the upgrade has disabled the WLAN card. I've tried to find an updated driver but Samsung only provide an update for Windows 7, which won't work. The specs of the card are:

802.11bg/n Compliant

Whatever that means! Any help would be lovely.

Is the wifi led on or off?

Is the wifi switch on? It will either be a physical switch in the front or the right side.

It could also possible be a soft switch, where you would hold the FN key on bottom left and an image of an antenna on the numbered keys or function keys..

Does your device manager show it as working ok?

Hi. Bizarrely, I switched on the machine yesterday after 48 hours of not touching it, it booted up windows 8 and found the wi-fi! Thanks for all your suggestions.
