i can't find the touch pad icon!

hey

recently, i am trying to turn off the touchpad when i am typing, because sometimes it gets very annoying.

so i open the device manager, go to mouse and other pointing device, but i couldn't find the icon for my touchpad! what's going on? currently, my touch pad still works find, but i just can't find a way to turn it off...

It's a Human Interface Device. Since it sounds like you're using a laptop, do you have an F-key that doubles as a switch to turn off the touchpad? Mine, for example, has the touchpad icon on F9 and if i hold the Fn key and hit F9, it turns off my touchpad.

Double tap top left corner of your touchpad to disable it. Double tap that region again to enable it.
