Printer problem

i have a epson printer model epson stylus sx435w was working ok on windows 7 but on w/d 8 when printing it comes out small and looks like the inks are empty there are. new my laptop is a advent modelt 100 .i was told to press +p makes no different please help

I've noticed on I.E.9 and 10 that when I print the print is much smaller than it used to be. I've got an Epson Artisan 835 but I don't think its an Epson issue. It has to do with Internet Explorer. When I print from MSWord its the correct size.

To counteract the smaller print in I.E., I click on File/Print Preview and then set the size I want and print from there.
