My Windows 8 OS was damaged so I tried to reinstall it using the installation disk. But when I got to the part that asks me to select a disk drive, it tells me there are no disk drives and asks if I want to load drivers from a CD. I tried entering my Dell drivers disk but it said no drivers found for my hardware.
I ran a diagnostics test that shown the hard drive working perfectly fine, and it is also shown in Dell's setup (F2).
I have a Dell Inspiron 15z (not 15r like I've accidentally put on my profile). I've tried UEFI and legacy mode with no luck.
Can anyone shine any light on my situation?
Thanks
